The movie Top Lite manufactured before 1962 by Cine Accessories (Brighton) Limited who were manufacturers, importers and distributors. The light would work with most cine cameras due to the universal screw-tight arm that formed the two into a 'compact' unit.
The lamp fitting used two 375w lamps and this gave the same exposure as with four 500w lamps and slower film. It has an easy to hold grip which dismantles for packing and is supplied with 10ft of heavy duty twin flex cable.
This example is not in to bad a condition, the case has no cracks and the switch works fine. The plug and cable are all in good condition and the lamp holders are fully intact. The original box has damage and the one lid has been torn off (still have the lid) and there is a small tear on the side.
I have not been able to try this out because of the three pronged plug and lack of bulbs but it looks in a good enough condition to work. The lamp is dirty though and would require a clean, most of the 'grime' will clean off but not sure about the 'grime' on the handle.
Its surprisingly light when set up and even with this Bell & Howell Autoset II fitted, it does not feel to heavy.
